Wasatch County has a combined Clerk & Auditor office. The Clerk prepares, administers, processes, and maintains all Countywide elections. The Clerk issues marriage licenses and processes passports for all qualified candidates. The Clerk prepares agendas, takes minutes, and keeps all officially approved county ordinances and resolutions of the Wasatch County Council on file.
The Auditor administers many of the county's financial functions. The Auditor works with the County Manager's office to prepare and administer the County-wide budget. The Auditor maintains records of all financial transactions, conducts reviews and internal audits, and issues financial statements and reports. The Auditor shares management duties of the property tax system with the Recorder, Assessor, and Treasurer and oversees the Board of Equalization.
