Victim's Advocate
The Wasatch County Victim Advocate provides direct services to victims of crime.
Direct Services Include:
- Crisis Intervention and Safety Planning
- Criminal Justice Advocacy and Support
- Assistance Filing Protective Orders and Stalking Injunctions
- Assistance with Crime Victims Reparations Applications and Restitution Claims
- Assistance with Filing Victim Impact Statements
- Making Referrals to Other Vital Resources
Victims have the right “to be treated with fairness, respect, and dignity, and to be free from harassment and abuse throughout the criminal justice process.”
