The appeals hearing officer serves a quasi-judicial role of determining appeals to administrative decisions applying the Wasatch County Land Use and Development Code and the Engineering Department Code. The hearing officer also makes determinations on variance requests following the requirements of State Law. The County Manager appoints the hearing officer with the advice and consent of the County Council. Appeals are scheduled on an as-needed basis.
